Summary
Ever since Gazerbeams has been working at the NSA, he has gotten very close to Gamma Jack. A little TOO close. (this fanfic is gonna be so peak 🤑🤑 /j) Since they have been introduced together in that diner, Gamma Jack has always trying to make excuses to be in the same mission as Gazerbeam, following him around everywhere in the office and even asking Gazerbeam to hang out with him after their shifts.
This has been happening for more than a year now, and so far Gazerbeam was just brushing it off, “He’s just like that” he thought, “Oh, he’s just being that way because I’m a new super..”
It wasn't until he saw small slips and cracks here and there when it came to being with Gamma Jack that he noticed he was being a little weird. It first came with his flirting and then his actions towards Gazerbeam. It was like every second, every minute, every turn, and every glance Gamma Jack would always be all over him, and Gazerbeam couldn’t help but notice, even when he tries to hide that version of him.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
