Summary
Grief was a powerful force. Either it rendered one truly unable to act, or served as fuel to further one's goals. Aline and Renoir fell in the former category and couldn't act when they were needed most. So, Clea took on her family's mantle. Since Renoir couldn't handle Aline alone, Clea would aid in what ways she could. Since Aline wouldn't stop ruining Verso's Canvas, it might very well have to be destroyed entirely.
It was Clea's Canvas as much as Verso's. If she had to erase it, she would.
But, there was more to take care of than aid in recovering Aline. Paris does not stop because they grieve. Time advanced ever forward, and Clea, the perfect Scion she was, would not let the Dessendre family fall to ruin.

Summary
Maelle brings Gustave back.
Gustave reunites with each of his girls: Lune, Maelle, Sciel, Emma, Sophie. He even makes a new friend in the form of a dark-haired stranger who Maelle calls "brother." A city is restored, relationships rekindled, and new bonds forged. But all that glitters is not gold: there is still a great deal of work to be done to keep the new Lumière and its people running smoothly.
A series of vignettes following Gustave and his loved ones as they discover that facing their new reality is a little less scary and a lot more manageable when they face it together.

Summary
Shadowheart is a bouldering competitor for the Shadowfell team, coached by Shar. Wanting nothing more than to climb as best she can, she threw in her lot with the climber she most admired as a child - one of the only things she can remember at this point. She suffers from amnesia from an accident in the gym and struggles to piece together what she knew from before. All she wants is to win, to make Shar proud of her by beating the climbing champion from Selune's team, Jaheira, before she retires from the sport altogether.
At the competitions, she meets other climbers she has no doubt encountered briefly before, but has no recollection of. Hard work, literal blood, sweat and tears and a whole lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms are Shadowheart's ticket to winning the most important thing of all - Shar's attention.
