Summary
There are five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargain, depression, and acceptance.
In some ways, it made sense that Kabru went over those stages when he started to acknowledge his attraction to Laios, it was, after all, the death of his dignity and self respect.
He did want to fuck Laios, but he also had to be realistic, and the reality was that Laios was probably horrible in bed. -

Summary
When Laios comes to the realisation that he has feelings for Kabru, he asks Chilchuck to teach him the ins and outs of sex. Chilchuck agrees on one condition: no one can find out about what they did together.
After the return of the Golden Kingdom, Laios and Kabru settle into their new relationship and daily lives. All is perfect. Until Kabru finds Laios' journal from his time in the dungeon. The secret it holds changes everything for a certain half-foot, and he finds himself in a position he never expected to be: in the royal chambers pressed between the King and his advisor.

Summary
Laios wrinkles his nose. “I just don’t really get romance plotlines. Monster smut though—I mean, if I extrapolate monster reproductive habits, I’m not claiming that I’ll get it 100% right, but I’m pretty sure I can get it way more right than any of those other novels—”
“What does Kabru think of this?” Marcille asks desperately.
Laios twiddles his fingers and readjusts his phone on the table. “Uh. Well. I emailed it to him yesterday. It’s a bit different from what I usually write, so I’m sure that’s why it’s taking him longer than usual to beta it.”
Laios never meant to develop a reputation as a monsterfucker novel writer, but it had just sort of ended up happening, and his editor Kabru is dragged along for the ride.
