Summary
Everyone always talks about the climax of the story, but what about after that climax? No one thinks about how the story affects the characters. How does the trauma and the pain stick? What does it do to them? More importantly, how does it change that person? Does it rip through happiness and tear apart bonds or does it strengthen them? No one thinks about that, leaving those in pain to suffer in silence.
Such is the fate for the once great leader of team RWBY, now but a fragment of the past and reduced to nothing more than a name. She achieved everything, but gained nothing. She was the best huntress in the world, but was now a walking husk. Burdened with the weight of the world and the fame gained from events of the past, Ruby Rose lives in a constant reminder of the trauma that led her there in the first place.

Summary
While light shines on the surface, darkness lurks underneath and within. Wherever the sun does not illuminate, the shadows thrive. The city of Vale is no different, especially for those who walk the line between the two and for those who call the darkness home.
Weiss Schnee, on her journey to find La Rosa's weakness, is thrusted head first into the pitch black void of Vale's underworld where she is forced to come face to face with monsters and face the facts that Vale was nothing like Atlas. Unexpected allies are made towards a shared goal and those who they once called enemies are forced to raise weapons in defense of one another.
La Rosa is also given a grace period following the end of the Maidens, although it won't last for long as the clock begins ticking. Four months is all they have and blood will be spilled.
The only question remaining is how much blood is a person willing to drench their hands in for the sake of the ones they love? Just how many lines will they cross for the sake of love?

Summary
Two months following the conflicts with the White Fang and Dynasty, La Rosa continues on and even grows in strength. Turning herself from an inexperienced girl into a fully-fledged crime boss, Ruby solidifies herself as the boss of La Rosa and the Queen of Vale. However, the more Yang investigates Summer's death, the field gets increasingly dangerous and eventually catches up with her.
Truth finally begins showing its ugly head and a line is put down the middle of allies because of it, dividing those who once called each other family.
Conflict also grows as territorial feuds break out, bringing an end to a heated rivalry.

Her cloak whipped as she leapt forward, a cloud of rose petals curling around the room to slam into the back of the CEO’s chair. The VIP let out a surprised grunt as the cloud coalesced back into the form of a tall, lithely muscular woman brandishing a scythe - now folded down into the form of a rifle - who wrapped a single gloved hand around her neck and forced her to bend backwards over her desk, unbalancing her and causing heeled shoes to scrabble at the ground for a second as she tried to get her footing at the awkward angle. Without losing her grip on the shorter woman’s throat, the Huntress brought the muzzle of her rifle up to press obliquely against her Prey’s temple. With her prize quite literally in the palm of her hand, the Reaper’s lips split in the baring of teeth.
“Oh noooo, whatsoever will I do,” Weiss said, voice in a flat, uninterested monotone, “the nefarious rogue huntress has cut through my guard and now I am at her mercy. Truly, the day is lost.”
