The crushing weight of being alone, of being worthless, is enough to send anyone spiraling. After watching Langa have the time of his life in a beef against Joe, Reki lost all hopes of ever being a decent skateboarder. He wasn't even worth being a supporter. So he turned in his badge and left. That night was almost the last night of his life. What use was he anyway?
