Summary
Principal Larissa Weems may be dead, but that doesn’t mean she’s done meddling. As Wednesday's spirit guide, she has noticed something the girls themselves refuse to admit: beneath Wednesday’s barbed words and Enid’s relentless warmth lies something far deeper than friendship.
To prove it, Weems drags them through a dreamscape of parallel universes where other versions of themselves exist. First, they encounter Pippa Fitz-Amobi and Vada Cavell: soft, analytical detective meets messy, vulnerable survivor. Then, Cairo Sweet and CC Walker: a seductive manipulator meets a fierce soccer captain.
From fluff to fire, Weems shows Wednesday and Enid every possible shape of love... until the girls finally confront what has been simmering between them all along. Neither Pip and Vada’s cozy devotion, or Cairo and CC’s feral passion, but something entirely and irrevocably their own.
Because in every world, in every reflection, the thread always ties Wednesday and Enid back to each other.

Summary
Dear Cairo, she reads again, again and again. She imagines how Jonathan would react if she told him. He would probably get that shocked, disbelieving grin on his face—the one he wore when he first found out that she had read his book. But even that would feel so artificial. He would care because he would feel as if he was the one to get her there.
Winnie, on the other hand… Cairo isn’t quite sure she can imagine what she would say. Maybe something like: “I’ve always wanted to fuck an Ivy League girl,” or grab her face with her hands in that rough-but-tender way she always used to: “I’m so fuckin’ proud of you. I’m takin’ you out tonight, sweetie pie. Shitty fucking mocktails and chicky-biscuits on me.” Even just imagining it makes it feel like something has been lifted, like cotton candy dissolving against your tongue: light and airy and almost too sweet to believe.
---
After getting Jonathan Miller fired, Cairo Sweet finds that she has plenty of time to reflect on what's truly important. Post-canon Cairo/Winnie fix-it.
