Louis just watches and waits, Harry points at him, jaw tight, like a madman on the brink of insanity drenched in frustration and words he can't express, "Do you even fucking hear yourself?"
Louis raises a brow, tilting his head slightly, lips twitching to curl around the edges, Harry needs to get it out of his system, "You want to take in a child," Harry spits, gesturing toward Adelaide. "A child that—fuck, Louis, we run the most powerful criminal empire in England. She already has a price on her head?"
"Hazza." Louis's voice is softer now, but there's something firm underneath it. Harry stops to glare at him.
"You own London," Louis says, pointed, "Tell me, where else would be safer for her than with us?"
Harry clenches his fists, whole body brimming with frustration, Louis knows him. Knows that Harry is thinking about every logical reason why this is a bad idea but underneath that, Harry is thinking about is himself, thinking about their bedroom, nights where he trembles in Louis's hands, letting Louis ruin him, strip away the weight of the empire and turn him into something soft and pliant.Bookmarked by Ishaaaaaaaa

“Harry, I’m fine.” Louis says soothingly. “I know I’m safe because you and Joni are there. As long as I can feel you holding me I know I’ll be ok.”
Harry flushes again and can’t stop himself thinking about his hands on Louis' warm skin. He shakes his head stubbornly, half to protest and half to clear his head of the thought.
“It’s just not safe. You’re surrounded by people grabbing and pulling at you.” He looks Louis up and down appraisingly. “And you’re so-“ he stops himself when Joni shoots him a warning look.
“If the next word you say is “small” I will fire you.” Louis says with narrowed eyes. Harry's shoulders slump.
“I wasn’t going to say small.” He was going to say small. “I was going to say, um, reckless.”
