Summary
A threat is building in the background of the more obviously pressing conflicts Earth's heroes face. Hungry, churning, endless darkness. The kind that's so cold it's hot, or maybe so hot it's cold. Raven hears the whispers tumbling over each other like grains of sand, speaking in languages that make the darkness inside of her sing. She's prepared to go into this battle alone, aware that so few can follow her. But Jason Todd, with volatile Lazarus Pit magic crackling through his veins and the All-Blade answering his call, hears the whispers too.

“I won’t tell anyone. I promise.”
Something dark passed through her eyes.
“A promise means something to a demon. Don’t use the phrase lightly.”

Summary
Natalia overhears the Eastern Europe intel team discussing the ominous tidings of a network that seems all too familiar to her. It's time to go back, but she'll need help.

“Tea or coffee?”
If she’d been any lesser of a spy she may have teared up. Hearing him speak perfect Russian, using their script from all those years ago, dug into a wound she didn’t know still bled.
“Both. It’ll be an early morning and a long trip, we’ll need the caffeine.”
“See you in the morning, Natalia.”
