Summary
“Rocky understands.” Simon has no idea how the robotic voice of the translator manages to sound so damn sympathetic. “Heat is time of big, big, big fear for omega. Very vulnerable time, statement.” With a trill that sounds especially musical to Simon’s ear, Rocky follows up, “Simon is omega, question?”
“Yeah,” Simon’s voice breaks humiliatingly. His face and his pants are wet, for different reasons. He is so fucking scared. “Simon is omega.”

Summary
"I really thought things would get easier after the pods." Ryland crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back into the uncomfortable arm chair.
Behind Ava he could still see the table where the others were arguing.
Could still hear them, too.
"You lying asshole!"
"Hey, we agreed that-"
"Jesus, and to think they pretended to be so perfect together."
Simon, still stuck at the table, caught his eye, doing his best to get between the people shouting vitriol at each other, calm things down as much as possible. Ryland winced.
"What gave you that idea?" Ava finally asked.
"I don't know." He sighed. "I won't make that mistake again."
or.
Ryland and Simon, having finally gotten together, expect the rest of the filming to go without drama.
That is not quite how it goes.

Summary
Ryland Grace is afraid of heights. Unfortunately, the summer job he agreed to in hopes of avoiding having to get a roommate is at the top of the highest point in the continental United States.
Luckily for him, his quiet, mysterious wilderness guide with sad eyes and scars that match Grace's own is more than competent. And hot. Did he mention how hot the man he'll be trapped with for the next five days is?
And there was only one tent.

Summary
Ryland Grace is generally happy with his life. He has the best friend in the universe and enough money to pay the bills. Surely he isn't lonely. He has his students, his responsibilities... well maybe a distraction wouldn't hurt. The distraction being the sexy new janitor at his school!

Summary
5 months ago, a series of space stations calling themselves the "Coalition of Iron" appeared throughout the 40-Eridani system, bearing a bewildering and terrifying story of a universe without stars, a humanity on the verge of extinction, and a moon made of human blood.
Simon survived the Eel and the Eye, only to reimprisoned as soon as he was pulled out, subject to the whims of scientists who seek answers in his biology. Now, Ava's dumped him into the custody of a new scientist, separate from the COI, a complete unknown. He's learned better by now than to hope.
Dr. Ryland Grace is pulled from his peaceful life on Erid to retrieve a specimen from the COI, an organism mutated by prolonged exposure to the blood ocean of AT-5
He expects an amoeba. They bring him a person.
