Summary
The weather on Qing Jing Peak was never just boring. It was either gloriously sunny, with a blazing blue sky and charming little birds twittering among the bamboo, or dramatically storming, rain pounding against the walls, the perfect backdrop for a furious confrontation or declaration of all-consuming love (read: lust). So when Shen Qingqiu woke up to a light, uninteresting drizzle falling from a dishwater sky, he knew instantly that something was wrong.
Binghe was plastered against his back, too big, too warm, his palm pressed to his chest over Shen Qingqiu’s heart as if needing, always, the confirmation that he was alive. Summary
After being separated from his brother, Shen Yuan spent a century alone, hiding his nature as the last pure Wood Dragon. He fills his time reading and helping what people he can, which leads him to find a Fire Dragonling beside the Luo River.
Crown Prince Su Binghe lived with the consequences of the Demonic Court disapproving of his mixed heritage, but managed to find peace as Luo Binghe, Shen Yuan's disciple. Spending his formative years with the kind dragon left him with the soul-deep commitment to being his mate in the future. While that quiet life came to an end as his past came back to claim him, his heart would never waver in it's devotion.
Shen Yuan disappeared after losing his disciple. Su Binghe vowed to never let him go again if he managed to find him.
Eventually, he does.
