Theo just looks at him with an odd glint in his eye. “You’re smarter than you look, Dunbar, I have to give you that.”
“Thanks?” Liam says uncertainly. A moment later, “I think?”
Theo just smirks and stretches his arms back and above his head. They settle across the mattress behind him, causing his shirt to ride up and show off a sliver of tummy peeking out above the waistband of his jeans where they’re slung low on his hips. Liam’s heart stutters in his chest when he realizes the boxers he’s wearing are Liam’s. “You’re welcome.”

The beta’s in charge while Scott is gone, and no way is this going down on his watch. But if Theo and Liam want to stop the assassins and not be consumed by the passion, blood, and darkness that surrounds them, they’re going to need each other.
