    “No, Hollander.” Ilya’s voice was firm, and his grip tightened so fiercely it hurt. Like he wanted his fingers to sink right through Shane’s skin, for their bones to meld together. “You fight me. Only me.”

    “You’re jealous,” Shane breathed, the truth finally dawning on him.

    Or, a jealous Ilya rage baits Shane through extensive, longitudinal psychological warfare. It works, of course. They fight it out.
