Great. Just what he fucking needed after a day of arguing with half-grown kids on the job. But, being his guardian, he could hardly refuse. Thus, he muttered a 'be there in ten' into the speaker, hung up before she had any chance to add more and, on his way out, called Bro to let him know he'd be alone for the rest of the day. At least that man had his kids in check, and would manage their job just as well on his own. He'd buy him drinks for the hassle, next time they went out together, Enjin set a mental note to make sure.

Soft. Barely audible. Careful little steps, as though whoever approached was sneaking... as though they had not yet dared to believe they were truly safe.
