Summary
24 year old Pro hero Icarus (also known as Midoriya Izuku) gets put on a case investigating the human trafficking of young heteromorphs, through a series of circumstances a cat heteromorph called Bakugou Katsuki ends up living with him and Izuku does everything he can to show the other man that he is allowed to live, and not just survive.
(Izuku and Katsuki never knew each other as kids, and there are other heteromorph and animal quirk heroes as Katsuki learns, this is also why Izukus hero name isn't Deku, as I think while he still would have been bullied by other kids, no one other than Katsuki would come up with the name Deku)
(All non con and underage sex that happens is in the past and not between the main pairing, it also shouldn't be too graphic as i don't want to write a scene where it's happening fully)
I am not touching upon the war in this as i cannot even begin to write about it without Katsuki present, however I probably will reference a few characters from the league who got caught early on and got rehabilitated.

Zuko gets tortured at pouhai stronghold from just after the kyoshi warriors up until just after aang gets captured, in total i think it's 34 days, Zhao captured him due to suspicion of the blue spirit but also because Zhao's a creepy dude, seriously in the show he's so weird. Zuko will join the gaang early in this angsty fic. I'm hoping for eventual zukka if I get that far as well. I also hope to go into aang a bit because he is 12 and at this point less than two months ago he was playing with his friends in the air temple and is now the avatar, supposed to end a 100 year war and oh yeah! His entire nation got murdered. This will be zuko centric though
