Summary
Rivendell was in flames. Scott failed to protect his people and could only wait for who from the Wither Rose Alliance would come for his head. He had no idea who he'd rather see walk into his throne room. All he knew was that he was not going down without a fight. If he could cut down one invader he'd maybe not feel like as much of a failed king when he inevitably died.
fWhip walked the royal palace of Rivendell with no interest in the rich decor and beautiful art. Barely paying any interest to dignitaries and council members' bodies. All killed either by themselves to save some pride or by fWhip's soldiers as they secured the palace. Avoiding the throne room as he told them to do. That would be where he'd find Scott. Unlike his siblings, he had no intention of taking the elven king's head. No, fWhip was intending to try and convince Scott to give up and save any further unnecessary bloodshed.
