Age sixteen, Dazai had cradled his face, using his coat to wipe the blood off his sleeping face after the first time they had done it. Six years later, age twenty-two, he was still treating him with the utmost care and tenderness. Everything, yet nothing had changed in the time between.
Watching Chuuya throw black hole after black hole, Dazai felt like he could both live and die for him.

Summary
The two halves of Double Black kept on their charade, despite whatever they had going on later tonight. Chuuya had probably forgotten to order the interrogation room’s cameras to be shut off, meaning that these two have to play up this charade of dancing around how close they actually are, generally bickering and making the other suffer minutely.

He almost forgot that as a former wisp of the thousand winds of time, and as a god once worshipped beside Kairos, he could also traverse the threads of time. He soon finds himself in the bustling city of Old Mondstadt.
Left confused on how to get back to his time, he decides to change the course of history for the better. Good thing he's much more than just a wisp this time.

Coffee with the sweet mascarpone cream…” Nahida slumps against her chair, casting her face towards the dome ceiling of the lecture hall, the little circular hole appearing white, like a sun that overlooks the sky. “I’m blaming you for this, Suisen. And you’re treating me some tiramisu once class’s over.”
Leaning his cheek against his hand, Suisen stares at his best friend. Nahida, who never seems to understand what people are saying, but always listens attentively regardless. Nahida, who dances with the birds and leaves, just as much as she sings along with the crowds on the chorus. You do not belong in the monotony of the lecture halls and the tall towers of the Akademiya, he often thinks to himself, of her. You belong out there in the world, admiring everything there is to be seen, being loved by everyone there is to see you.
“We don’t have to wait until class is over, do we?”
(In some other reality, they can be just two ordinary people living mundane lives, admiring the beautiful complexities of the world just as is, and nothing more.)

Aino keeps calling for him, anyway. And if he doesn’t come, she sends one of her recon bots to look for him… and you know the rest. Otherwise, what other incentive would he really have to keep returning to the craftshop? He’s gotten what he initially came for, and the rest will not have to do with them. If anything, in the broader scale of things, it will be best to keep them out of his business. Yesterday’s comrades may well come to be tomorrow’s enemies, and so on and so forth.
But little Aino looks at him expectantly upon each of his arrival. He pulls out the container—“La Lettre a Focalors, from Fontaine,”—and watches as her wide gray eyes sparkle with an unassuming vividness to it, snatching the container from his hands in an instant. “Ineffa, it’s chocolate cake from Fontaine!” She yells, and jumps to give the Wanderer a quick head pat, before dragging him with her to the house.
The whole thing is ridiculous, really.
An uncanny partnership, born of desserts and machines.

A tale of destined lovers, woven into the pages of Inazuman light novels, romanticized and reimagined, yet so far removed from human experience that it was dismissed as mere fantasy.
And yet, the frayed red string hanging loosely from your pinky told a very different story.
[The story will take place in two different timelines. First, timeline 1 where Scaramouche was still the 6th harbinger, though it will begin from much before his Kabukimono days and go from there. There would be more of timeline 1 than timeline 2, and a lot of character interactions as the fanfic is more based on the relationship between Y/N and Scaramouche in his Kabukimono era, Kunikuzushi era and ofcourse, Scaramouche era. Second, timeline 2 which is Sumeru during in-game canon era after Wanderer got his memories back and tries to reconcile with the past he had with Y/N. There will be angst. Lots of angst. And a lot of triggering material as mentioned by the tags so be warned. Reader is a kitsune yokai and Yae Miko's half sister.]
