Summary
Dream doesn't think he's ever been lucky.

Dream is the city's #1 hero, with the powers of healing and luck, although he's lived the most unlucky life of all. Somewhere along the way he saves a few villains, and - for some reason - they save him back. Slightly less angsty than it seems.

“Excuse me? I'm looking for the meeting room?”
The unfamiliar voice is quick to bring The Johnnies back to their senses, with the older of the two turning towards the source.
Lin Ling is as unremarkable as they come—aside from the white streak of hair accentuating his dark locks, as well as what Johnny recognizes to be a battle suit tucked under the other man's arm, the new top ranking hero appears to be just a regular guy. Probably fitting of a name such as ‘The Commoner’.
His expression reads uncertainty as he approaches them, but there's something in his body language which conveys resolution for wanting to be here.
Immediately, Johnny has many questions.
Or, what if Lin Ling decided to join FOMO instead of TREEMAN?

“You need to stop,” Techno gasped, “Smiles you need to stop.” Dream’s veins were screaming. His body was burning.
“I can’t-“ He gasped out, pain seeping into his voice. The world felt like it was squeezing around him. His head felt like it was being stuffed with cotton. His limbs were shaking. There was sweat outing down his back.
“You can,” Techno whispered, looking away from the illusions. Even he looked haunted. It must be bad then. “I know you can.” Dream shook his head, a sob bubbling past his lips. He could feel tears burning in his eyes. He was hurting. His entire body was hurting so much that he didn’t know how to regulate it. He didn’t know how to fix this.-or-
Dream’s been pushing himself for too long. It all comes crashing down. Publically.

Summary
Dream started to walk back towards his own apartment, the further he went, the less ‘rich’ everything looked. From pristine new buildings came the old familiar brick walls. Some windows in peoples homes were broken, even using duct tape to cover it. Weeds stuck out along the cracked sidewalks. Graffiti was plastered almost everywhere, lamp posts on the streets were not working yet again, and a bloodied kid who looked about near death in an alleyway. Yep, normal things in the West End.
…Wait.
Whipping his head back and taking a few steps backward, Dream had to give a second take if he actually saw that. The answer was yes, it was a kid bleeding out in the alleyway. When Dream went closer, he found out it wasn’t just any kid but one of the members from the Syndicate, the villains. He had blonde hair, a red mask covering his eyes, and a red and white hoodie which was covered in blood near the stomach area.
“Fuck.”

Summary
Nightmare is a vigilante and a thorn in the Syndicate's side, almost as bad as the former #1 hero—now missing, with a bounty on his head. It seems like every time they get close to figuring out another lead on the corruption deep in the Hero Federation's core, Nightmare is there first, mucking up their investigations and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
Technoblade doesn't volunteer to deal with the problem so much as stumble into the job, but whatever, it's just one annoying guy in a stupid mask. How hard can it be?
