Summary
When Peter doesn’t respond, Tony frowns and turns around to look at the teen. A look a little pale, that wasn’t uncommon thought. His hands were not moving, not fidgeting. “Earth to Parker?” Tony raises his voice slightly.
“Huh?” Peter straightens, looking at him. Tony can’t help but chuckle.
“The screwdriver.” Tony repeats, “Could you hand it to me?” he asks again, holding his hand out. This time, Peter reaches for it and hands it to Tony. The rubber shaft fits nicely into his hand. “Thank you. Are you staying for dinner today?”
Tony’s about to turn back to his work when Peter suddenly tips sideways on his chair. Like the strings of his body had been cut, just like that. Falling sideways, like a lifeless rag doll.

Five times Peter doesn't think Tony would want to know about his trauma.
Each chapter will be a different problem Peter tries to face on his own: panic attacks/flashbacks, bullying, physical injury, etc. There will be underlying themes of sexual assault aftermath throughout, so please be careful reading. This will be a sensitive and realistic portrayal of the effects of SA trauma with no explicit scenes. I will handle this with care! But please read with care, too.One time Peter realizes he 100% trusts Tony. I adore this chapter so much.
Plus at least another chapter of pure healing and love, so I'm going to set this as a 7 chapter fic!

When Peter gets beat up at school, he knows exactly where his support system is and heads straight for it. A whumpy hurt/comfort fic for Whumptober 2023.
OR
He doesn’t think he’s hurt badly enough to need to go to the Med Bay, but a first aid kit would be nice. Mr. Stark has one in his lab for lab accidents. If he can make his way to the tower he can use that. He doesn’t want to go because he wants Mr. Stark to hug him and tell him everything will be ok… definitely not. He and Mr. Stark have never hugged before. Well, there was the one time after Germany when Peter had mistaken Mr. Stark reaching across him to open the door as a hug. The man had told him, “Not a hug, I’m just opening the door. We’re not there yet.” Peter is his intern, and a junior Avenger in training. There will be no ‘there yet’ because interns and Avengers don’t get comforted like that. To get a hug he’ll have to wait until five the next morning when May gets off her shift at the hospital.
It’s fine, Peter thinks to himself. I’m not going there for a hug, I just need a first aid kit.
