A Luke POV one-shot during "Unsaid Emily", starting from when he runs into Julie on his parent's porch through until they attempt to hold hand's on her porch. Luke's thoughts and experiences seeing his mom receive her song, his POV during the "Unsaid Emily" flashbacks including their fight and seeing his parents from the bushes when he was still alive, the experience of writing the song, what he experienced as he died, and what went down in the 'dark room' where he, Alex, and Reggie wound up, etc.*** I spent so much time watching his fight with his mother, trying to read their lips & figure out exactly what they were talking about, so 98% of what Luke & Emily say to each other during the fight in the story is what I believe are the Canon lines from the show! ***

Honestly, it hadn't been in her plans to have Fiyero with her in her crisis-induced impromptu trip. It hadn't even been in her plans to leave Iorke, much less the Oztates — but she found that very little made sense and very few made plans when in a complete, absolute hell of a burnout from which she couldn't actually run away.
She could try, though.
And nothing said that she couldn’t flee the country.
So, when Elphaba knocked on Fiyero's (palace’s) door to tell him that she'd be traveling for God-knows-how-long, to God-knows-where and alone, she hadn't expected Fiyero to get up, rush to his room and ask her to wait a minute in a muffled yell.
A taxi ride later, they were boarding a plane with a destination in another continent.

Elphaba's move after finding old letters she'd written to no one was to get on a plane to another country. Or rather, it was telling Fiyero she'd do that — and, so, her solo, breakdown-induced trip suddenly had a partner. Through letters, tears, and spending someone else's money, she would soon find out that fleeing home wasn't quite an option when the heart in which she lived inside was beating in the chest right beside hers.
