Ever since DBBQ Ena was first revealed, there's been countless speculations and theories based on the occasional crumbs we get on this games progress. From the reoccurring themes of endlessly consuming dreams, the nightmares that follow and the vessels that are hollow. This fic focuses on the interpretations of the "what ifs?" On how Ena took what wasn't hers to recycle and bend it anew.

Summary
Foes behind and unpredictable roads ahead. This is the life ENA has known for a long while. It's not a walk of life she isn't used to, but 'run' may be a more appropriate word. And running often means her own existence. No waiting. No chances taken. No stopping. Not unless she has to.
But just because you've grown used to living the way you do doesn't mean it has no effect on you. It often takes a rare moment of silence and mercy to become aware of your state of affairs again. To remember that you do, in fact, feel. And strongly.

I seriously love this writing style - I reckon it's actually my favourite that I've ever encountered on this platform. Works great, the characterisation's pretty coherent throughout, and of course well-written. Despite not being one for romantic relationships I find myself coming back to re-read this fic, which is a rare achievement for a fic so ship-oriented. But I digress, this fic is great and you should read it.

During her travels, Ena has rather unfortunately become the host of a parasitic plant, and subject to the unsolicited health concerns of some guy in a frog suit. As her condition worsens, she will eventually learn to appreciate that some people simply care for the sake of caring.
(This fanfic is based on the characters of the yet unreleased 'Dream BBQ', so the characterisations may be way off from canon. Keep this in mind if you are reading this after the game's release!)
