Summary
His eyes skimmed the room once more, noting the few pieces of furniture and trying to figure out the best place to settle before the next contraction hit. The low table was covered in body parts. The rolled up rug in the corner would give little comfort. The human standing by the closet would be useless. The blood stained chair by the hearth at least had cushions so-
Lucifer stilled.
His eyes slowly drifted back and locked on the human. The living human. Standing by the closet door. Looking right back at him. Lucifer. The devil. Naked say for the black sheet draped across his shoulders. Oh, and in the middle of fucking labor, of all things.
“Ah… right.”

Summary
After Charlie gets that fateful call from her mother, she embarks on a mission more harrowing than redeeming lost souls, fighting overlords, or challenging the forces of Heaven.
She’s going to help her dad get his groove back so he can win her mom's heart all over again!
Alternate Summary:
“You’re going to be fine,” Alastor drawls in Lucifer’s ear.
Lucifer is not FINE. He’s literally in over his head. The line to the club, which they’re currently standing in, is a MOB of unknown, sweaty, disgusting bodies. There are sinners EVERYWHERE. It’s like driving through a valley lined with sneering, toothy, hungry-looking trees with dozens of beady, glowing eyes.
He's going to DIE.
“This is going to be so amazing,” Charlie gushes. She makes eye contact with him over her shoulder and grins wide.
Lucifer tries to muster a return grin that looks enthusiastic and not as if he’s a single social interaction from developing stress fractures in his jaw.

Summary
When Alastor finally lands a deal with Lucifer without selling his soul, he thought he had everything he ever wanted. An opportunity to kill as many prey as he wants and never see the consequences for it. Everything went (mostly) well until Heaven wanted a part on it.

Summary
After five months of attempting to summon the Devil, Alastor was about to give up on the old occultist book he found hidden in his bayou. As he reckons with the ever growing possibility that he will lose his hard-won radio host job in the wake of the 1929 stock market crash and the ensuing depression, he meets a mysterious man in white.
---
He didn’t need confirmation from his old friend that this is the man she was referring to. He looked like something out of a lovesick teenager’s fantasy. Perfectly smooth, pale skin, blond hair combed neatly back, uncannily blue eyes. He wore a pristine white suit, not a single speck of dirt on it, and a lapel pin in a shape Alastor couldn’t make out from this distance. Their eyes met, and Alastor was nearly bowled over with an emotion he couldn’t quite identify.
…Disgust. That must be the emotion. Who was this man, waltzing into his town to flaunt wealth that others could only dream of? His suit was finely tailored, so clean, so unlike the threadbare clothes that most of the other patrons wore. He could taste bile on his tongue.
And, suddenly, the blond man was in front of him.

Bookmarker's Notes
I want Alastor to crawl and beg for attention so bad, I love them, the period is so interesting and I love how is important for the history.
