Summary
It’s been ten years since the Battle of Naboo. After the blockade ended, Shmi Skywalker was freed by Qui-Gon Jinn’s dying wish, but the Council decided the boy, Anakin, was too old and too dangerous to train — so Shmi took her son back to Tatooine, where she eventually married Cliegg Lars. Anakin grew up free, strong, and haunted by dreams he doesn’t understand — a Force-sensitive young man, with a fierce sense of loyalty and justice.
Now, ten years later, the galaxy teeters on the brink of war. Padmé Amidala, now Senator of Naboo, has survived an assassination attempt. Obi-Wan Kenobi, remembering the boy with a power unlike any other, devises a plan: to hide Padmé somewhere no one would look — among the sands of Tatooine, with Anakin and his family.
Unknowingly, Padmé steps into the desert to find not a boy, but a man who never forgot the angel he once met.
