Summary
At first, Craig didn’t understand who or even what he was looking at. It was a boy who looked around Craig’s age, sure enough, but some aspects dismissed that probability.
It wore scarlet horns through tufts of scruffy, honey-accented hair (so scruffy Craig imagined it tossing its hair beforehand). Bat-like wings were tucked behind an olive button-down shirt. Yet it wore the face of a teenage boy—a pretty boy, Craig noted— and its face was slender and milk-white. Craig felt if he touched the boy, it’d be deprived of all pores and scarring. But that wasn’t a bad thing. Or, it didn’t feel like a bad thing; Craig didn’t mind it. Two gentle carmine eyes drowned Craig in an accumulation of sea foam, and Craig almost allowed a smile.

An aged-up High School AU to deal with the more mature themes of the story. It deals with Youth Pastor Craig Tucker and Imp Tweek Tweak. Chapter updates may come slowly, but that's only because I take my writing very seriously, and I'm busy with college

Summary
A giant gelatin-like mass resided at the bottom of the pit. It was the color of freshly harvested limes and moved as smoothly as the ocean tide. At first, Navidson took it as a weird science experiment dumped and left to rot in a weirdly dug hole—discarded for nobody to find except for two yahoos in the middle of a mountain looking for cobbler berries—but he discarded the idea once he favored the idea of it being a massive slime instead.
His eyes fell half-lidded when, suddenly, the slime jerked.
“Hi!”
Navidson tumbled back on his boots and brought Levi down with him. They both fell to their asses in the patchy dirt.
The thing in the pit had risen to the top, its slimy body molding itself to create poorly sculpted hands to grasp the rim as it formed a face to smile at them.
“Oh my God, do my human flesh bits deceive me?” it said as its body swayed toward Levi. “You’re Leviathan Latte from Home Sweet Home!” It shifted its gaze to Navidson. “Oh! And Navidson Jones also from Home Sweet Home. Hello!”
