Summary
Karlach smiles at him as the sun begins to set, her eyes softening around the corners, a nervous look flickering over her features. And Astarion is already expecting what comes next, but it still feels like shards of ice blooming behind his ribs.
“Do you think I can sleep in your tent tonight? Now that I can’t hurt you or set the damn thing on fire.” She asks with a breathy chuckle, an uncharacteristic anxiety making her shift on her feet, her bottom lip caught under her teeth. He has no disillusions on what her words could mean. She’s not likely looking to do much sleeping when she is free to touch him now.
(Or, Karlach can freely touch the people she loves now. Astarion makes a few wrong assumptions.)

Summary
He'd been brought to my small, sparse village to destroy our monster. The exchange was a simple one: One dead creature in return for gold. But what does one do when my father, the leader of our people, cannot afford to pay the amount charged to him? Well, he tries to trade his lovely daughter, my sister, to him, of course, as alternative payment.
Only there's a slight problem. The Witcher, the mutant all my people seem to dread and despise, doesn't want her... He wants me instead.

Gaetan assumes being found and carried off by a Wolf alpha is actually going to be a worse fate than bleeding out in a cave would have been. But it turns out Wolves aren't much like Cats, when it comes right down to it, and Kaer Morhen might be a sanctuary he never dreamed existed.

Summary
Aiden is always far too thin and miserable in the spring when they meet up again, so Lambert invites him up to Kaer Morhen for the winter. Good food, good company, a nice warm bed, and the option of very good sex - what's not to like?
Aiden left the caravan and its brutal alphas as soon as he could survive on his own. He is heartbroken when Lambert suggests he come to Kaer Morhen to be the alpha Wolves' newest toy - but he'd do anything for Lambert, even this.
...There's a miscommunication in there somewhere.
