“Isn’t this backwards, Morax?” There’s a mocking edge to Childe’s tone. “Since when do gods get on their knees?”
Zhongli presses a tender kiss to the gruesome scar that sprawls across Childe’s trembling thigh. “This isn’t the first time I have knelt before you, Childe.” His lips trail higher until he hears a hitch of breath. “From my vantage point, this remains the same.”
Childe sustains injuries at the Golden House. Zhongli helps him heal. There is a bath, a broken teapot, and a coming to terms.
