“I was scared,” Jun admits, the words feeling heavy and bitter as they leave his mouth. “After I said it… I knew I messed up. I knew it the second you went quiet.” He swallows. “But I didn’t know how to fix it without making it worse.”
Minghao’s jaw goes tight, eyes blinking away the tears, but he doesn’t interrupt. So Jun keeps going.
“I thought if I gave you space, you’d… cool off. And then I kept waiting for the ‘right time’ to call and it just—” he lets out a broken breath, shaking his head. “It never felt like the right time anymore.”
“Because you were avoiding it,” Minghao says quietly.
Jun nods. “Yeah.”
Or, how long do you think love can last before it breaks if you don't fix it first?

“I was scared, I still am,” Hyunjin admitted, his voice cracking. “I— I didn’t want to lose you Lix. I didn’t know what to do with all of it. I couldn’t… I couldn’t lose you, and I didn’t know if– if I could love you right. Felix I’m… Please, don’t hate me”
Felix’s gaze softened for a split second, but then he exhaled, sharply, as if he was trying to hold it all in. The anger still lingered, but there was something more— something broken, something wounded. He stepped closer, standing just inches from Hyunjin now, their chests barely touching.
“What do you want Hyunjin?” Felix asked, his voice quiet, but heavy. “What do you really want?”
Or, Hyunjin is a mess that is in love with Felix, but in the process he starts to realize that Felix is slipping away from him. Can he be brave enough to fight for him? Or is he gonna let him watch drift away his heart?

Felix wasn’t one anymore. That was a sweet reminder for his soul to take to be stronger than any black mirror that crossed his way. He would do better to be the real flower Hyunjin needed him to be. A beautiful rose in the garden the both of them build together.
