Summary
It was two days later when Macaque returned and Wukong barely glanced at him before focusing his attention on the TV in front of him. They both sat on opposite ends of the couch pretending to watch the show without acknowledging the other was there.
Wukong had more or less decided that in the grand scheme of things the whole incident really hadn't been a big deal but he'd be damned if he was going to be the one that tried to make amends. He didn't expect they'd actually address what had happened but this whole thing had been on Macaque.
Macaque is physically not the same as he was, it would be helpful if he'd actually communicate this to Wukong.

A lovely read about wukong and mac's relationship after reconciliation. I'm obsessed with the idea of them working things out together and all the bumps in the road that involves and this fic lays it out near perfectly
10/10 will probably read again
