Summary
Peering at him across the floor, Herman can imagine the soft cadence of Robert's voice in each reply. The gravel at the edge of his words, the sighs of exasperation or amusement, the rumble of his chest when he laughed. He liked it— the noises that Robert made. A nice thing to latch on to during stressful missions or trips to overly loud dive bars. So easy for Herm to pick out of a crowd and follow along.
It was even nicer then that Herman still had the memory of Robert's voice, breathy and wanting, ringing in his ears.
***
Or, Herman finds out that talking about his anxiety can come in handy sometimes.

Summary
Maybe it was a bad idea to bring the guy with a noticeable crush on him over to his shitty, sparse apartment under the guise of sharing a drink and "getting to know each other". Maybe it was absolutely fucked how desperately he wanted his hands on Z-Team's very own Waterboy.
He was so going to get fired for this. And it'd be so worth it.
***
Or, Robert shooting his shot and getting more than just his mind blown in response.

“There’s money on you or Abbot snagging that resident first.”
This piques Emery’s attention. Abbot. No mention of the intern. She tries not to let her interest show on her face. “Funny. I don’t know which resident you’re talking about.”
Garcia snorts. “I think you do.”
Walsh does not have a crush. However, when she finds out Dr. Samira Mohan is, in fact, single, she makes her move.

Summary
They are alive. It is absurd that it comes at such a revelation, but it does. Such a revelation, such a relief.
Wang Zhi is more shaken than he would like to admit by carrying an explosive around the brothel and then leaving Ding Rong to deal with it.
