Summary
Agatha’s life takes many unexpected turns after she is given a second lease on it.
Of all the outcomes she might have envisioned for herself, the knowledge that those she loves have a great fondness for eating orchids hadn’t rated high on the list of factors potentially influencing the path her life ends up taking.
Much later, Agatha will remember herself thinking of that fact and dismissing it, and cackle wildly.

Young girls from poor European countries, lured in by the promise of a better life, are being forced into sex work. Their body on Brighton Beach the first of a string of murders that send Joan and Sherlock down into the seedy underground of New York to find a killer acting on orders to liquidate the organizations' girls before it's too late.
