“I saw you with Sam, and you’re only worried about if it counts now?”
How John Winchester had convinced anyone that he was worth loving for longer than a night was beyond Dean.
Their whole dynamic was already messed up, with two kids locked up in a motel bathroom while their father had his way with a woman. But he couldn’t be sure if they would ever come across this kind of money again, so the Winchesters would have to at least act like they were a normal family around an equally messed-up son.
