Summary
What happened could... honestly, barely be considered an "argument". It might as well be given the fact that Spelldon's fully aware both of them are being a little overdramatic about all this. Throw in the entire school seeming to have a severe misunderstanding of what actually happened, and things aren't going too well.
Oh, and the rose that Spelldon's been working to preserve seems to have decided to go haywire. Can't get too much worse, can it?

Tim was eagerly counting down the days, making good use of the advent calendar Bruce set out, each day on the calendar opening to a quaint little wintry image. Bruce and Alfred promised the full Christmas experience from decorating a real, live, Christmas tree to watching the best Christmas movies (it was a crime Bruce had never seen Elf, Tim was determined to make this his other gift to Bruce). It was supposed to be a real family Christmas, like Tim always saw in the movies.

Despite wearing gloves, Tim can hardly feel his fingers yet he finds himself clutching onto the coat Detective Montoya had put over his shoulders. He opens his mouth to thank her but realizes she is now suddenly without her winter wear so Tim shrugs it off and tries to return it to her.
“No thanks, I should be okay,” He says, ignoring the way his voice shakes.
“Kid, your cape is dripping wet and your lips are turning blue; Take it until your boss tells you to get in the car.” Montoya crosses her arms in more of a parental stance than a chilled one and Tim can’t tell if she’s hiding feeling cold (because there is no way someone isn’t cold in negative degree weather, soaking wet or not.

Or, Tim has pneumonia and tries to hide it from Bruce, out of fear Bruce will die because of it. He's overthinking it, he's just like me fr.
