And, well. He gets impatient when he’s already in pain.

He’s still got fifteen minutes until the meeting is set to begin, and the chances of him slapping Mr. Smith-Harguson so hard that the man’s toupee flies off are rising exponentially by the second.

Yeah, that settles it. He needs an excuse to get out of here, and he needs it fast.

    Summary

The data indicating the average person experiences 3.4 attacks annually is misleading. You- who seem to find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time several times a month- represents a significant deviation from the norm and should not be counted in the dataset.

(Seriously, if there was a punch card for civilian endangerment, you'd have earned a free mug and a commemorative sticker by now)

Or; in which Nightwing accidentally develops feelings for the anxious woman whose rescue has become part of his regular nightly routine by this point.

    Summary

When you left the town in the year of our Lord, 1897, to buy more wool from the local farmer, the cobblestone streets had come up to meet the hooves of your neighbor's horse.

Along this trip of false hope, the open fields at your sides had led to the backdrop of a brimstone forest; an old shadow seems to loom there. A black thing. A devil with eyes like a burial mound. You were told to fear the Ghost of the Forest, but never had you known you'd be caught in his blackened claws.

“So, just checking, you know I’m not actually Endeavor. I just played him on tv one time,” Touya says flatly as he fidgets with the ropes binding his wrists.
“Shut up!” Kidnapper 1 says, “We know that!” He follows this up by muttering “We know that now,” to himself, which does not inspire confidence.

Todoroki Touya did not intend to become famous. Or an actor. Or a famous actor. But sometimes the stars align just right for you to give a huge metaphorical middle finger to your evil dad in a very public way while laughing your ass off and rolling around in a literal pile of money because you took your first paycheck to the bank and had them give it back to you in the smallest notes possible just to make your childish roll-around-in-a-pile-of-spite-money dreams come true.
