Summary
Aeris was created in the image of another—a clone born from the genes of Aerith Gainsborough. Though she is her own person, the world sees someone else when they look at her. She lives in the echo of a life that was never hers, haunted by a legacy she never asked to inherit. Aeris believed she could live free of that Cetra legacy—until dreams and voices from the Lifestream began calling to her, pulling her toward places she’s never seen, yet feels inexplicably tied to.
With Vincent by her side, Aeris embarks on a journey to uncover the meaning behind these visions. Along the way, she encounters old and new allies, confronts the growing darkness of Sephiroth’s lingering influence, and begins to question the boundaries between her life and the one she was made to resemble.
In the ruins of the Forgotten Capital and beyond, Aeris must face the shadows of Aerith’s legacy and the corruption threatening her world. As the past refuses to stay buried and the life she longs for begins to slip out of reach, Aeris must find the strength to define herself—or lose everything.
Set after FFVII canon, following a divergent path. Written as the sequel to "I Know What's Beneath the Snow Fields" by Zahra. (See Notes.)

Summary
All works in this series take place in the Snow Fields Verse, a post–I Know What’s Beneath the Snow Fields timeline centered on Vincent and Aeris, where they survive and build a life together. Inspired by "I Know What's Beneath the Snow Fields" by Zahra.
Aeris - a clone of Aeris Gainsborough - and Vincent Valentine, after surviving the horrors of Professor Hojo, heal and build a life together. Mere months after they come together, Aeris begins to experience strange visions and hear voices calling to her in her dreams. Clone or not, Aeris can't seem to escape her Cetra heritage - and has to find out what that truly means. The Planet calls to her, and she and Vincent go on a journey to find out the truth behind these visions and voices.
Post–FFVII Canon Divergence.
