The last thing the Turks and Avalanche saw before being pulled into the lifestream was Holy ripping Meteor apart. Somehow, despite Rude's miraculous summoning of Holy, they failed to stop Sephiroth. Gaia is dead.
Yet, those who fought for her future are not. Awakening in unfamiliar surroundings without working materia or communications, the survivors are left with many questions and few answers. With no other options, they accept their survival as a second chance. An opportunity to be and do better. A final gift from Gaia.
And so, with the aid of the siblings on whose property they’ve found themselves, the Gaians embrace their new lives. They begin adapting to their new home and forge new bonds (platonic and romantic alike) with those around them - including some once thought impossible. Their peaceful futures seem assured.
But second chances are rarely given freely, and long-held truths are often anything but. A storm that bears the threat of history repeating has followed them, and they will soon have to decide whether to fight for a dying world one last time...

And to top it all off, she's drawn the ire and intrigue of Sephiroth, who seeks new purpose for the realm lovingly dubbed the Debug Room and even bullies her as a de facto editor in this new story of Gaia.
But the Rulers of the Outer Realms are always watching. Order must be preserved, lest the ancient wars of cataclysm resurge.
