Summary
Hachitaro, who has the alias "Agent 8", has forgotten nearly everything but has defeated the terrible Commander Tartar and formed an intimate relationship with Kaori, who was once Agent 3 and is now the captain. But like his memories, some other terrors from the past resurface.
Also: some of the more "human" looking characters, like Sheldon, will just be inklings rather than being some other sea invertebrate since Splatoon seriously has too many sapient species.

Summary
No real story behind this one other than "Captain completely overtaken by fuzzy ooze with the need to turn you with her", a concept that was going to go in the notebook but I just loved too much not to try and make it its own thing. Pay attention to the tags, super hard focus on hair and corruption here, so read at your own discretion. Enjoy!!!
