    An absolutely insane premise for a christmas fic i am beyond obsessed it was phenomenal. Why yes lets have a supernatural meet cute to this otherwise fluffy christmas fic and yes lets have it haunt the narrative a little. And such well written characters and a depiction of grief that made me cry. What more could you want

    Deciding that enough time has passed for Elphaba to be sufficiently in suspense, Glinda steps closer. "Three words, Elphie. Yellow," she takes another step, and the floor groans again in protest. "Brick." And another, so they’re nose-to-nose. "Road trip."

    Glinda falls on the bed that she'd made mere moments before. As she kicks her heels in excitement, Elphaba lets herself pretend like she's just passed her finals or gotten kissed or found a blouse to match her bag. For a clock-tick, the whole world is in their hands again. Everything and nothing matters, and they're far from rounding the corner to thirty.
