Hawks has the audacity to blink up at him in confusion, those pretty eye markings making all the gold in his irises glitter back innocently. “What? No I didn’t.”
“Ok, I’ll try again.” Dabi drops the instructions on top of the pile of garbage. The picture on the front of the booklet is nice, even if its completely black and white and printed a little smudgy. “I’m not helping you build a desk at ass-fuck-o’clock in the morning.”
OR
Hawks builds a desk from IKEA. For some reason, he only wants Dabi to help.

"Yeah baby- gotta get you to the villa, then we can go home." The nickname slipped out before he could stop it, and it made Hawks dig his face further into his neck.
"W-With you-" He warbled.
"Yeah with me, I'm not going anywhere."
