This is very much an ode to chaos, smut and found family. For all the adventures along the way, no matter how hysterical or dark they may be. For choosing to believe they could have a future filled with love and freedom. For the knowledge that they would fight for that future no matter the cost. For all the banter, and all the tears.
This is predominantly a Dramione fic, however as time goes on we do get some other infrequent POVs.I'll update the tags as I go.

Summary
After the war, Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Grimmauld Place, looking for peace. It does not last.
Something is wrong with Harry. Before they can face what is coming, Hermione turns to ancient magic to save him, and the cost is not what any of them expected.
This is a story where things do not go back to normal.
Slow burn. Long. Harmony, but it will take time to get there. Canon compliant up to the end, then it breaks away. There will be politics, war, ancient magic, psychology, emotional strain, and shifting loyalties.
Harry, Hermione, and Ron are no longer what they were. A ritual meant to bind them fractures something deeper, and what remains begins to change... colder, and far more dangerous.
They will go dark... but not without reason.
Justice turns harsher. Old magic resurfaces. Lines once unthinkable begin to blur. New players emerge with their own motives, and some spells are better left buried... except they refuse to stay buried.
This is still about them... just not the version anyone expected.
