Summary
When Andromeda invites everyone to a weekend in the Alps to celebrate Teddy's birthday, it sounds like a dream holiday. Only, there's a catch—the resort is in a magical dead zone where not even the simplest spells can be cast and everyone is encouraged to live like a Muggle for a day or two. Witch influencers swear by the detox of this latest wellness fad, and most people simply find it fun. Narcissa, however, is aghast that her magic has been taken, and Hermione feels it's nothing more than cultural appropriation. Bonded by indignation, the two women are determined to figure out how to get their magic back and turn the resort on its head.

Summary
Hermione does usually like being an Unspeakable, it's a good fit for her, cerebral with a bit of adventure thrown in the mix. Usually. Except some days she's handed boxes upon boxes of unearthed Death Eater trinkets on a Friday and told to sort through them all by Monday with all the proper diagnostic spells to determine what's a dark object and what's just junk after an already unforgiving week. Tired and worked to the brink, Hermione decides to bring home all the boxes so she can at least have a decent meal and a shower and work in comfort. It isn't technically against the rules after all. Except in her sleep deprived state she forgets the number one rule of dealing with potentially dark objects: wearing your magical protective equipment. There's no way that can back fire, right?
