    Summary

Red Hood died when the Dimensional Transporter exploded, snarling in the face of the Regime. Several dimensions away Izuku Midoriya woke up with skills he didn’t remember learning, memories that definitely weren’t his, and half an answer to the question that had plagued him all his life: can someone without a Quirk be a hero?

    Summary

    “Where did your rescuer go?”

“Me'ven? He was just here… I owe him a life debt.”

“Goodluck trying to tell him that.” A nearby foodtender muttered, “He’s of the Old Way. They don’t accept life debts.”

    “A Traditionalist?”

“Nyac. The Olden Way.” The Mando shrugged.

The Olden Way held different values from most Resol’nare. Their Creed kept their Ways close, they kept their secrets with their lives. It was difficult to find information on them because they themselves were hard to find. They were ghosts.

The only reason Jaster knew that much was because one of his closer Verde was once of a Covert. His Creed was broken and while he sought Redemption to return in the beginning, he found his soulmate who was not of his Creed.

“Olden Way or not, our tendons have granted him the life debt of my ad and me. One for saving his life, and one because I failed to be there to protect it.” Jaster muttered. “We’ll find him.”

    Summary

Mandalorians had this odd sense of humour where they liked watching strangers get teary eyed from eating the spiciest dishes.

    “Familiar with pirpaak ?”

“Not this particular one, but familiar enough to know what to expect.” Ben replied.

Food was an important part of Mandalorian culture. Aliite tended to have conflict over whose dish was the better recipe. It was like Jedi and their tea blends.

    “Where did you have it?”

“Sundari.” Ben replied, “It was a lifetime ago.”

“Ughh, Sundari’s drap? What’s the name of the place?”

“I am unsure, though it might have been a bit spicier than this one.” Ben hid a smile at the outrage that followed his claim by taking another bite. Pretending not to notice the chaos he had caused, Ben glanced at the Mand’alor who was watching him in amusement.

    “Ever visited Keldabe?”

Ben hid a laugh. “Only ran through it, really.”

“What a shame. I will show you around.” Jaster offered.

Ben smiled, “I would not say no to that.”

    Summary

Being a vigilante was not easy.

As someone who had been vigilante-ing for five years, Peter knew that from experience. He did not particularly like the term ‘vigilante’. Mostly because it implied violence by a default. From the very start, Spider-Man was a friendly neighbour. Just a guy with powers who wanted to help out around town.

Crime fighting had been an accidental add on to that. Spider-Man helped people, and sometimes helping people meant that he needed to defend them. A lot of times.

Sometimes, that landed him in unforeseen trouble. Unforeseen consequences of seemingly minor matters.

Small incidents which seemed unimportant at the time but snowballed into things so unbelievably insane Peter hardy knew how to deal with it.

I love all of this authors Spider Man. They really capture the optimism and fun that Spider man embodies.

Breath of fresh air to see a Spidey who is doing hero work out of a sense of love for his city, instead of depressive self flagellating guilt.
....man. Maybe I'm getting burnt out on all the depressing shit.

    Summary

Peter Parker, Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and struggling college student.

Between dealing with small-time criminals and semi-dangerous villains that seemed to have a grudge against him, Peter is just trying to keep his college life from derailing. With his unexpected internship at Stark Industries and the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man ending up on the Avengers’ radar, will Peter manage to keep it all from collapsing?

    ----------------

Peter gasped in horror. “Nooo!” He dropped to his knees and punched the concrete, “Why?! He was so young! So tasty!”

“I’ll buy you pizza when we get to the tower.”

“You.” Peter’s eyes narrowed as he turned to the pizza murderer, “You have gone too far now.” He warned.

Peter landed on the man’s shoulders to make the man fall onto the roof next to his poor, soaked pizza slice. Peter webbed him up more just in case.

“I would be sorry, if it hadn’t been for the loss of my poor pizza.” Peter sniffed. “A moment of silence for our fallen hero.” He said as he stood on top of Iron Man’s back, a fist to his chest in respect. “Gone but never forgotten. Always in our hearts. May you rest in peace, sweet, sweet pizza slice.”
