Summary
The blobby shape in front of him that he’s ninety percent sure is his sister and not some random tree is starting to come into focus again. Nya’s expression looks pinched, hand outstretched. He owes her, like, twenty thank you cards for being there during these horrible visions, Lloyd considers groggily. Or a box of cookies or something. Maybe he can get Arin to bake her a pie.
It always seems to be just Lloyd and Nya against the world. That doesn't change in the Forest of Spirits, nor after the ritual of the Blood Moon.

The Splinter in the Blind Man's Eye is a "could-be-canon" Ninjago novel written by Tommy Andreasen and former Ninjago fan-content creator Lachlan Jansen, released on X. It takes place between Season 10 and Season 11 and centers on Lloyd and Clancee's journey to the Hanging Temple at the Wailing Alps in search of a mysterious man called the Wishmaster.

It’s stupid, and it’s melodramatic, and Lloyd hates himself even as he jolts awake. It’s already been three weeks since the oni fiasco, even longer since they defeated his da—Lord Garmadon, and still Lloyd wakes up like a little kid with nightmares.
OR: Lloyd is NOT okay after the Oni Trilogy.

“I know how heavy your weakness weighs on your soul,” the temple-Lloyd said, his hand, glowing with dark green energy, poised directly over Lloyd’s chest, “So consider this a gift—an escape from all the mistakes you’ve made.”
Suddenly, Lloyd was a teenager again, having lost it all and slowly being crushed under the weight of the world, wishing he didn’t have to be in it anymore.
__Basically a rewrite of that scene from Dragons Rising episode 8, where, believe it or not, some of the stuff the literal externalised manifestation of his darkest thoughts says strikes a chord with Lloyd.... (focused on s8/9 era trauma)
