Hair a shock of gossamer pearlescence, cloudy pastel shadow around blue, blue, eyes. The bluest eyes they’ve ever seen. Somewhere between celestial paradise and Neptune, interstellar dust.
A deity indeed.
Every patron in the room hoots and screams. Her lips curl, her smile a unique sort of enlightenment. “Such a warm welcome,” she purrs.
Shoko thinks perhaps a creature like this is beyond comprehension. She turns to Suguru. Stretches up to speak directly into his ear. “I’d kill for her,” she says.
“I’d let her kill me,” he replies.
(One gloomy night in January, Shoko and Suguru encounter a divine being. They buy him peach juice.)

wow. just wow. one of the best fics i've read. when [spoiler] gave [spoiler] his [spoiler] and said THE LINE i gasped so loud my fiancée heard it from the other side of the flat and thought something happened. and then i proceeded to explain the fic to her and quoted THE SCENE. its SO GOOD.
