Summary
As the Siege of Angband takes hold, Mairon and Melkor must find ways to occupy their time. But how far does Mairon dare push his master, and will he like what he finds?
An expansion into the main events of the Silmarillion from the Angbandian POV, from the Siege of Angband to the last moments of the War of Wrath.
And now introducing the SEPTEMBER 2014 REMIX: A slightly longer, slightly more complex take on the original which I hope that everyone will very much enjoy!

Summary
A series following Maedhros through his times in Angband, in all of their dark, twisted, visceral unpleasantries; from his initial capture to his torment upon the Thangorodrim. Certainly not a fluffy fic. Heed the tags.

Summary
“Fetch me another.”
Mairon’s gaze flickers briefly from Melkor’s twisted, rolling form to the stone slab he hunches over like a shade. The body of some nameless elf lies there, mangled and broken. Its pale skin is mottled with bruises and blisters, marred with hundreds of cuts, and obviously long-cold from death. It is merely one of thousands who have died here, upon the table, at Melkor’s hands.
Thousands more will eventually follow. None who enter these halls will escape unmarred.
“There are no others.”
—
In the deepest pits of Utumno, Melkor continues his work. But when he runs out of elves to experiment upon, his gaze turns to another to torment.

Summary
“You really should consider changing that name,” Eonwe comments with a thoughtful frown. “Nazgul. It hardly goes with your… current status.”
“Jailed?” Mairon asks, eyes flickering to Eonwe even as the rest of him does not move. He remains still, almost deathly so, not permitting a single muscle in his body to move.
“Reformed, Mairon, please.”
—
A Fourth Age What-If story where Mairon is captured some time after his defeat at the end of the Third Age and imprisoned within a tower in Valinor. The only problem is that even after his sentence is officially served, he refuses to come down. NOT 'canon' to the Tides of War series.

Summary
He remembered their days in Almaren, bathed in innocence and light. Melkor would not have tolerated him speaking of them, except with sarcasm, so he had pretended to have forgotten. The name of Manwë’s herald had never been spoken, never written, never thought, since Mairon had chosen his master.
But his master had been defeated. And as he approached the camp raised by the host of the Valar, he felt, in the midst of his immense weariness, a faint stir of regret.
