Summary
In a desperate attempt to save his region from ruin, the King of Hoenn trades his son for Johto's assistance taking down a group of eco-terrorists threatening his people. Steven is betrothed to Lance, the crown prince of Johto.
Steven and Lance are two different people from entirely different worlds, and seemingly have nothing in common. Steven, the diplomatic, intelligent son of Hoenn’s peaceful ruler, has numerous Pokémon partners. Lance, a warrior prince who has seen numerous battles, has none, mostly due to his father’s archaic views on Pokémon.
Slowly, Steven and Lance will learn more about each other, overcome their differences, and fall in love.
