Summary
The same hands that are first to hurt Twilight when he's captured are the hands that will set Loid free. OR Yuri Briar learns that he actually doesn't want his brother-in-law in chains. (Almost a character study, because I think Yuri's melodramatic and kind of dumb, but not actually cruel enough to want Loid to be hurt as much as he convinces himself he does.)
Based on the Mole Hunt arc of the manga and especially inspired by one panel on the last page of Chapter 89.
Literal summary: Loid gets captured by the SSS while he's disguised as Yuri. Conveniently, that means Yuri can pretend being copied is why he was so angry and not because Loid is married to Yor. That doesn't make it much easier to keep Yor and Anya safe, but it gives them just enough wiggle room for both men to try - and to bond in the process.
Content note: I tried to keep most of the torture off-screen, but it still gets pretty bad. Yuri and Loid are the focus for the vast majority of the time, and Yuri is literally known in-world for his ability to torture people, though he's not always responsible in the fic. More hurt than comfort.
