Summary
There are many things that can shove a Scholomance student into loser status. Lack of talent, a weak affinity, poor social skills, or any combination of minor things that make one unpalatable to enclavers.
In Frieda’s case, it’s the decade of training to kill enclavers.
Nearing the end of sophomore year, her resolve to never use those skills is already cracking. Between the maleficaria and the school’s ruthless hierarchy, she’s not sure which is more dangerous to her fellow losers. Keeping them alive would be a tall enough order in a “normal” year, one without Orion Lake and his unnerving girlfriend throwing everything off.
With little to her name but a collection of near-useless Ancient Egyptian spells, a litany of assassination methods, and an affinity that isn’t supposed to be possible, Frieda has to find a way to save her friends and get them all out… Ideally, without losing herself in the process.

To our queen's most esteemed of servants,
Camp Half-Blood has sent five demigods to intercede in our plans. A civil war with Camp Jupiter is inevitable so long as our deception remains intact. I have provided some brief observations about the demigod party, listed by perceived threat level. May your hunt be swift and fruitful, and may it bring us closer to opening the Locked Tomb.
Harrowhark Nonagesimus: Daughter of Hades. Dangerously powerful necromancer. Distrustful of the others and will self-isolate when possible, eliminate first.
Chloe Price: Daughter of Persephone. Intelligent and crafty mage. Emotionally volatile, can be compromised by threatening any of her companions.
Gideon Nav: Daughter of Ares. Skilled melee fighter. Brash and hot-blooded, easily goaded into unwinnable fights.
Rachel Amber: Daughter of Dionysus. Silver-tongued performer. Unremarkable when not on a stage, low priority.
Max Caulfield: A complete unknown, arrived recently. Notable only for being unclaimed at 19, yet was chosen by the Oracle to lead the quest. Minimum priority, though there may be something more to her...
