Summary
There are two constants in my life that have shaped who I am, guided my healing, and anchored my growth: The L Word and Melissa Etheridge.
I keep coming back to them.. to these characters, to these songs.. because they speak a truth about queer love, pain, and resilience that nothing else quite captures.
This series weaves them together: three stories exploring Bette and Tina through the lens of three Melissa Etheridge songs that have meant everything to me. It’s my way of honoring both the fandom and the music that raised me.

Libby Tanner herself said that it's a shame Bridget's backstory wasn't explored more, so I've taken it upon myself to create an enormous and in-depth ongoing work of fiction that will explore the relationship between Franky and Bridget from Bridget's first episode, to her last, and their relationship beyond that while simultaneously exploring and mentioning her formative years and meeting her friends and family.
We have already seen on screen the story of Franky and Bridget from Franky's perspective. So, this is, in essence, the slow-burn love story of Bridget and Franky told from Bridget's viewpoint, including all the thoughts and feelings, (and some add-in scenes) we wish we had seen, as well as much more development of her friendship with Vera!

I watched titanic and couldn’t get the thought of a TiBette AU based loosely on the movie. Imagine it as a cruise ship that takes place in the 90s (don’t question it)
I wasn't happy with the first version of this story, so I've reworked it and now I'm determined to finish it!
