Summary
Spiderman, a hero loved by all, no longer becomes the center of attention once the Fantastic Four—a group of so-called heroes that spawned out of nowhere—come along to steal headlines from Peter Parker.
And leading the charge was The Human Torch. A flame-lit rival with a black suit and an eye mask that kept his identity just out of reach from reporters that angered Spiderman with cocky words every time they interacted.
Peter Parker didn’t have time for distractions. Not when someone like that was out there, taking his sky, city and attention.
There really wasn't anything getting to Pete's head until one evening changed that.
No longer indulged in anything close to headlines or The Human Torch, Michael Jordan now lives rent free in Peter Parker’s head as a distraction Peter never wants to get rid of.
Somehow, the man behind the flames has the exact same eyes of the man he pines for. The same eyes Peter would get lost in if he allowed himself.
