Summary
They get back together, because of course they do. Because Chay is a bit of a pushover, and a romantic at heart. He can’t resist the song, the flowers that show up in his room, the constant pleading texts Kim sends from new numbers, the gifts that keep appearing.
Kim is… persistent. It is, as far as Chay can tell, a family trait. And Chay is just a boy, barely out of high school, being pursued by a man he’d idolized for so long. It’s a lot for anyone to take.
So they get back together. Against Porsche’s wishes, once he’s found out about it, but Chay is an adult now and he gets to make his own decisions. And he’s decided on Kim. For better or worse, despite their history, despite the bloodstains on Kim’s hands. He’s choosing Kim. And Kim is choosing him.

Summary
“Bro, isn’t that your cousin?” Day asks from his perch on the arm of the couch. His voice carries over the din of the club to Kim, who is mindlessly scrolling through Twitter and otherwise blocking out his surroundings.
Kim glances up at his friend but doesn’t bother to turn around and look for himself.
He fucking hopes it isn’t Vegas. His most violent relative can also be the most dramatic. Usually he and Vegas ignore each other, but if Vegas is in a particular mood there is no way they are going to walk out of this club without drawing blood.
“How tacky is his outfit?” Kim asks. He’s noticed that Vegas’ willingness to cause mayhem is positively correlated with how tasteless his clothes are at the time.
“Not at all.”
Kim frowns. That doesn’t sound like Vegas.

Summary
“It’s always…” Chay tightens the grip he had on Kim’s leather jacket, daring the older man to try and move away, pulling his body impossibly closer as he turns his head to the side to pant out the rest of his sentence, “…P’Kim, it’s always been you.”
When he turns back around and they lock gazes, Kim feels a burning sensation warming up every fiber of his being.

Summary
Kim has never known how to handle his anger. He is the blade his father made: cold steel occasionally playacting as a real person, one who writes love songs and can even smile genuinely sometimes.
But Chay. Chay has disarmed Kim since the day they met, and Kim has never known what to do with that either. especially once Chay was no longer in his life. But even then, as much as he'd longed to repair what he'd broken, he's never been able to bring himself to cross the lines Chay drew in the sand that night at the club, the first time Kim had shown up to protect him.
It’s funny, the way things all come together when Kim just stops and listens.
or: the episode 14 bar fight, but Kim doesn't leave the bar.
