Summary
When Queen Aemma died without heirs King Viserys was left in an impossible position, either name Daemon heir or have another son. The realm would never accept Rhaenyra as Queen but the King did not want to remarry nor name Daemon heir. With little other choice, Viserys decided to have Rhaenyra pretend to be a boy.
